This is really beautiful, love the old picture and the cute documented book it looks with old letter and great clusters.
I admit I don't understand the journaling and don't want to get wrong.:/
But the layout is really beautiful without knowing the story!

The thing I miss is that this beautiful young lady were your grandmother! I wasn't sure if she was a family member or as the picture is just amazing I even though that it was maybe a famous tv serie... I feel a little bit ashamed!
I love even more this layout now I know the story, this is a wonderful tribute to your family!
