Home Office

My boyfriend has a new job and he now has to work from home as well due to the pandemic. He has a desk in our living room, but if everyone is home, he didn't have a quiet place to work. So two weeks ago we went to my parents house to pick up my old desk and installed it in our bedroom. We are currently renovating our home, so we have to be creative with the space we have available at the moment.

I love how you used the template with the balance between journaling and the Home Office element. Your color matching is spot on....and the blended city scape as an arty touch.

So fun! Love the layering of papers here. Love the themed elements in your clustering too. Great page.

I saw this one and love it immediately! Love how you scrap this situation and at least Ward has a place for him! Love how you use beautifully the template and how you play with the patterned papers. So cute! Love all the details especially the files binders in the background and the construction with depth effect, great great great!:)
My Sweet friend, I will answer your message later because I have kids at home today (they don't feel well but it doesn't seem too bad), but I want to tell you I just feel exactly like you! I mean it was kind of conforting to read you because I feel the same. I'm so relieved for little M but so sad for the situation. We had the same with a egg hunt, N just can't accept it...:(
Sending you lots of Love and support! I'm here Sweetie!

@Emily: Thank you so much for your kind message, my sweet friend!
How are N and H doing? Are they feeling better? I'm crossing my fingers they didn't get infected with covid.
M is back at school. It's the first day today with more measures. Kids older than 10 years old have to wear masks now and they can't eat in the cafetaria any longer. They have to eat in their classroom. Gym is no longer inside, but outside. When they have a break they can't see any other kids then the ones in their own class. etc... they are all small extra measures. I'm not sure it'll help much.

You know how sorry I am for N and H. I can understand her feelings. It's all just so hard, esp. for kids. I can only say... hang in there! I know it's hard. (I'm having a hard time myself). But it's the only thing we can do.

I'm thinking of you, my friend. And I'm here if you need me.

That's good to have made a less distracting place to work. I love the masculine colors/feel to the layout. Or certainly less feminine. The themed elements are great, too.

I love the masculine feel of this layout and so nice that you have found a quiet place for him to work. That is a hard thing to do in our house!

Love this, feels 100% masculine and perfect for your journaling. Love that you have pattern mixed too, suits the quilted feel of the template (which I might need to add to my wishlist). My fave thing is your masking of the background, so just a little peek of the buildings showing, so clever - as always your work just makes my day a bit brighter.
