Beautiful page! Love the photos and your clustering and layering. Homemade cards are the best. I used to make cards and my mom still does. It is so special to get a homemade card.

Pretty page! What wonderful happy mail too with receiving all those handmade cards from your friend! Love all the layering under then photos! The added flower box and the bottom of your journaling is a great addition to your page too!

AAAAH Char is this awesome, so happy it arrived safely and you know I couldn't just make you 1 card I love this layout and way to use that kit, it's perfect here. What template is this? Also I LOL at the 50's mail. I joined AARP when I was 40 to get the great discounts and now I get mail about incontinence pads and hearing aids?!

Claire, I'm still admiring the cards! As for the layout, it's not a template. I was winging it! lol In my previous scrapping days (7? 8? years ago or so?) I hardly ever used a template. Or never? I may have used sketches if it was part of a challenge or something. Now, I use templates most of the time. I just didn't see anything in my stash that was the particular look I was going for.

Mad skillz Char!! I get sweaty paws without my template crutches, but I have managed a couple where I just focus and treat them like cards!

Love how you did this challenge. I too love your page design...and the little flower box with the journaling popping out of it. Too cool. And welcome to the 50's club.
