I really like this use of a Top 10 List! I am going to bookmark this and see if I can remember to do a list of Hopes for next year with my husband as New Years Eve approaches. As for your layout, I am a big fan of the color palette you selected. The teal, orchid, and navy work together nicely. I also like the fonts you chose. By keeping them simple, you kept the focus on what your words say instead of how they look. And I love your choice to include those hot air balloons. They are tremendously appropriate!
