I'm so saddened by how deeply partisan and tribal our nation has become. People are getting really ugly against each other. Both sides are doing terrible things to members of their community. It's downright un-American, immoral and unjust. It's not diplomatic and not civil. How do people, who call themselves Christians, act in such a way judging and wishing ill on others? How do they believe their rights matter more than someone else's? Why can't people work together for the greater good? People are stealing political signs and blocking others from being able to vote. People are hurting, angry and spiritually barren. I've heard good people say terrible things about other good people. We have to work to bring our people back together. I hope it's not something as catastrophic as 9/11, but I remember the patriotism and national camaraderie we had in the wake of the terrorism. Now we have a pandemic, but where is the working together? Where is the grace for others? Where is the love for country? All I see is ripping it down.
