CELEBRATE LIFE - Bobby Sessler and JoAnn Forward were sweethearts throughout their high school years. Bobby was a football star and JoAnn was a cheerleader. JoAnn was outgoing while Bobby was reserved. Girls were gaga over Bobby but he only had eyes for JoAnn. They graduated in 1947. World War II was beginning to wind down when Bobby received orders to report. JoAnn told her parents that they wanted to be married before he left. And then he received another notice that they were no longer calling up troops. They waited a year before marrying on June 1, 1948. They celebrated 69 years of marriage.
