I love sunsets! This sunset picture was taken in Naples FL. We lived less than 5 miles from the beach and we would often times just go down in the evenings to watch the sun set. When Dale would have a stressful day at work he would call me and tell me to get ready to go when he got home. We would jump in the car and head down to Vanderbilt beach for some “sunset therapy.”
Naples is a huge vacation spot so there were always lots of people at the beach. My favorite part was all the old guys who played bocce ball on the beach. Once the sun started to set though, everyone stopped what they were doing to watch the sun fall below the horizon and then everyone would clap. When the sun was gone we would return home completely refreshed and renewed!
