So I did this layout for the Spin-A-Lift challenge today. And I cried all the way through it. You see, my daddy died 8 days ago. And it has been positively the worst week of my life. I thought today I would try to scrap a little, to take my mind off things and try to earn my sweet reward points and I bought this kit saturday because the word art really spoke to me. My mama and daddy had a beautiful yard all my life and they tended it together....it was their pride and joy so I thought the words were so perfect. I took this photo of them last July on their 36th wedding anniversary and the love in their eyes just made me start bawling all over again. This was a very hard layout to scrap but I am pleased with how it turned out and I may frame it for my mother.
