My favorite color is actually blue, but green is the color I immediately think of when this place we call home now comes to mind so I went with that instead.
journaling: We've lived on the west side of Richmond for 3 years now. It is a study in contrasts - city vs. country. It takes less than an hour to go from our house in Woodlake to downtown for the ballet or north to the ritzy Short Pump shopping mall. If you need something to do there are museums of all kinds - including science, art, living history- theater and musical productions, and weekend festivals throughout the year. At our home on the reservoir the deer, turtles and many species of birds keep me entertained while standing at the kitchen sink.
