A year ago today we signed the papers to purchase this house (for the first time, we actually had to do it all again one week later... strange circumstances!). I felt like it was fitting to do this layout using photos we took the day we first looked at the house.
We are not spontaneous people. We think things through, plan, and think some more before deciding to do something... except when it comes to houses. Every time we have moved and each house we've bought, it has been a spur of the moment decision to make a change. We aren't those people that look at 20 houses first either. We look at 1 house, fall in love and go for it. This house was the one we fell hardest for too, and the one that turned out to be the hardest for us to obtain. It was a foreclosure and we had to jump through hoops for months. We put the offer in on December 10th, the day after looking at the house, and we finally signed papers in February. It was a long 3 months!
