May BINGO #15 Greatest Joy Greatest Sorrow

Our first time visiting the Vietnam Memorial, it was very sad and yet I was also so touched by how much my kids seemed to understand what the memorial stood for and how the names were for those who had been in the service. That is one of the greatest joys for me as a mom, to see them understand and appreciate life lessons, even those that are so filled with sorrow; and I am glad that I am there for them through those experiences.
What a wonderful page for a visit to the Vietnam Memorial. My cousin's name is on there, and it was so special to look up his name on our visit! I love your journaling and the close up photos of the flowers left in honor of loved ones!

What a wonderful layout. I love the way you photographed and journaled your trip. The photos are beautiful and I love the colors.

I've been there to find names of people that my dad knew. It's very sobering. I love how you documented this, though. It's a great idea for the challenge.
