Journaling: Every year I create a special Mommy camp for Liam to keep us busy in the summer. Our themes have always been science. This year my Theme is Chemistry, which I’m really excited about. Liam loves science but he also loves stories and adventures. SO to make this summer camp adventurous, I’ve wrapped our lessons around a creative story. Two chemistry characters (Bruce the Beaker, and Edgar the Erlenmeyer flask) will be going on a quest through chemistry land to find the secret of happiness. I’ve been spending the last few nights writing a story of their adventures that Liam will read before each chemistry lesson. At the end of the lesson, he will earn special clues that will help Bruce and Edgar to solve the mystery. I sure hope Liam has fun with it, because I sure am!!
