It’s serious business, being a mom. Some days it hits me...that the two of you look up to me. And it hits me, that I need to do everything that I can to be the best person I can be. It’s not easy. I’m not perfect. Sometimes I hope you aren’t looking and that you don’t see the mistakes that I make, but I also hope that you do see them sometimes, but also that you see that I am learning and growing all the time.
I pray that as you look up to me, that you also see that I am looking to Jesus as my rold model and that you see that I am not perfect, but He is. I pray that you want to be more llike Him every day, and if I can lead you that way, I have done my job. It’s not easy, but it’s also the best job I could ever ask for.
