With DD heading into 6th grade I decided to do a little mini book of her elementary school years. I chose a photo for each year and placed them in a modified page protector (simply cut down from an 8.5"x11" page protector). I used the pockets to hold the journaling. In the journaling in the front pocket I wrote to her about how proud I was of how much she loved learning and in the back pocket I wrote about how each photo was a refection of her at that point in her life.
