I guess it’s all part of being a woman. This feeling of wanting to fit in and be like everyone else, even when you know you’re not really supposed to. You’re supposed to “be yourself.,” and not want to be just like your friends. You’re not supposed to feel so desperate to be with the “in crowd.
The constant need to be liked needs to chill out a bit. I have found friends that like me for me. They like my weird personality and sense of humor. I’ve found people to be comfortable with, so I can be uniquely me, not necessarily “one of the crowd.”
