Journaling: That this photo opportunity has only happened twice in your lifetimes is a crying shame. That it happened at all is a testament to your Aunt Tracy and how hard she works to keep her family together. It is not a coincidence that both photos were taken at her home in Jay, OK. She's waited patiently for you both to grow and mature to the point where you could understand that the bond you share is worth exploring. She never gave up hope and I can't thank her enough for that. I want the two of you to have a relationship. I want you to spend time together, getting to know, respect and love each other. I know that it may not be easy, there is a geographical distance, a very big difference in age and the loss of your dad to get past. Your aunt has done her part twice now, so the rest is up to the two of you. I pray you take her gift and work at becoming more than strangers who share the same father. I hope you become both friends and brothers in the truest sense of the word.
