In Slovakia there is a different tradition than it is in USA. On Christmas Eve we get presents from Baby Jesus... BUT - we have also Santa Claus (Sain Nicolas) that visits us on 6th December and brings us sweets, candy, peanuts and so on (but just for children that obeyed whole year through). He is accompanied by a scary devil who gives onion or coal for those who did not behave well...
Me and my colleague Zlatka decided to have some fun last December and also to make others laugh - so we dressed up like St. Nicolaus and devil and went around the offices rattling with chains (me as a devil) and shouting Ho Ho Ho and giving our colleagues chocolates (Zlatka). It was an unforgettable day for everyone!
