- Journaling reads: Sometimes it’s hard to define myself as anything other than a wife and mom. So much of my life revolves around my family, especially Logan. Now that I’m not working outside the home, it’s even more difficult to hang onto my own identity, to the person who’s more than just a mother or a wife. I absolutely love being a mom, and it will always be my number one priority, but I don’t want it ever to solely define me. And even though sometimes I feel like a short-order cook, housekeeper, or taxi driver, I know there’s way more to me than that.
