I mean, I am truly the most optimistic person I know, trying to see the best in every situation I’m faced with and my hope for any sort of romance in my future is almost nonexistent at this point. I’ve been of the mind that it will happen when I least expect it, when I am ready to actually give it a chance, from an introduction by a friend that knows me well, etc. For the longest time, I don’t think I was ready to even try if I had the opportunity. I am afraid I may have lost my ability to trust again. But then that little voice inside whispers “It’ll happen... and when it does it’ll be wonderful!” So, until then I’ll continue to hope...
