OK so maybe I am not going to make the Next Top Model show...but I am more than what meets the eye. My hair may not always be perfect, I may be 10 pounds too heavy, I may not put on makeup before I go get groceries but...I am honest, loving, loyal & kind. I have a helpful heart that is too giving at times. These things don’t do anything for the outward appearance but it is what makes me pretty My great grand-daddy had a saying that, “Pretty is as pretty does.” So, I guess I am pretty after all. I hope that Ella learns this lesson early. With all the images of rail thin girls & ‘teen idols’ gone crazy it would be so easy for her to pick up the wrong definition of beauty. It is my prayer that she remember that inner beauty is a more precious quality than outward appearance. And I hope I can be a role model for her. So Role Model instead of Next Top Model...I can handle that:)
