- Journaling reads: It was an ordinary Sunday morning: hanging out in our PJ’s, no makeup, just coveted, precious family time. Daddy was playing golf, so it was just us girls at home. I decided to grab the camera and take some pictures with my doodlebug. No particular reason. I just simply felt like it. Maybe it was because I know how fleeting this kind of time together is. Soon, you’ll be a teenager who will probably want nothing to do with me or my camera. But, for now, you are still my sweet, silly girl who doesn’t mind making funny faces with me or letting me kiss you on the cheek. And, even though these pictures are far from polished, I adore them because they are so us. Two goofy girls, laughing and having fun together just because. These are the moments I love most.
