Whenever I am down or life just seems to be bearing down on me, I find comfort in snuggling up in this quilt that my Great Grandmother made. I just feel so loved and safe when I am wrapped up in in it. It is almost as if I am wrapped in loving arms, being told it will all be okay. I have no idea how old it is because my Grandfather just gave it to me in late 2008 but I am guessing it is somewhere between 70 and 90 years old. I keep it safe locked away in my room. It truly is my security blanket and I want to preserve it for many, many more years to come.
