Journaling: Before we left for Walt Disney World we measured Micah to see if he was 40 inches tall and he came in at exactly 40”. Of course, the first time we tried to get on Big Thunder Mountain the workers wanted to measure him and it was touch and go on whether he was tall enough or not. After 3 workers checked and gave their opinions the final verdict at the entrance to the line was ‘okay’, but the workers at the head of the line have the final say. So... we walked on and acted all confident that he was tall enough when we got to the end of the line. No one stopped us and Micah was so excited to get on. For the rest of the trip we decided to spike Micah’s hair with gel to help him look taller and always acted confident, or hid him behind a couple of people when we got on the 40” rides. Thankfully it was Christmas time and the crowds were huge, so this happened to work in our favor.
