Journaling: The original concept of chocolate popcorn was a yummy idea. Until we got to the practical application of that concept. It ended up being delicious, but the mess at the end was unmatched in our weekly popcorn and movie adventures. And the result of so much sugar in system right before bed shows that mommy really wasn’t thinking all that well. But you’re kids. And sometimes nights like that are worth doing again, no matter the mess, no matter the consequences. Because that’s what being a kid is all about. (Plus we didn’t get pictures of your brother!)
