07.28: Well I slept until about 9 am and then had to drag myself out of bed! I was wiped out. I came down and checked my email and then started the chicken for chicken and dumplings. I managed to get a shower, the bed made and a load of clothes out of the dryer, some in the dryer and a load in the washer. Abby got up and wanted chicken noodle soup for breakfast, ok. Ben got up and wanted his computer cord back and I told him no that he needed to do some things outside before he could get it back. Peyton woke up dry again today, but did poop in his clothes while I was gone. I headed pout the door at 1015 only to find out that Capt Bulach’s retirement rehearsal wasn’t until 2 pm! So I had lunch with Matt, Raquel and Steve at the BBQ and it was great to chat and catch up! Then I headed to the NEX and picked up Rango for the kids. Went the retirement rehearsal and I hope they get it together by tomorrow! Looks like the guests of honor will be sitting in the sun! But I think it will be a great ceremony and can’t wait to see a lot of my hospital friends. They are having a big reception tomorrow afterwards at Fort Casey. I made it home around 415 pm in time to get the chicken and dumplings going and get everybody feed by 6 pm. My computer is acting up so Matt had to take the fan out and clean it. 6:16 pm Abby is watching Matt doing something on his computer and Peyton is watching Rango. Matt asked if I wanted to go with them on a walk, and I politely said “NOPE!”…his response “So the one that needs it the most isn’t going”, my response “YEP!”!!!!!! Sam just came down stairs and said “why is it so quiet!”, I told her dad took them all for a walk, even Ben! I don’t thin kit is ever this quiet during the day unless everyone is asleep!!!! Matt went outside and mowed the grass and the back yard looks livable again! 8:45 pm Ben is mad because Abby & Peyton are talking and he can’t play Mario Kart! Cruel IRONY! 9:51 pm The kids are playing Mario Kart again!!!!!!! 10:07 pm : Matt has convinced the kids to help clean up..Ben to fold towels, Abby to help with the shoes and such and Peyton is basically just out of the loop being occupied with Mario Kart~
