10.07.10: so the day has FINALLY come to have my retirement ceremony! I don’t officially retire until 31Jan2011, but I had my ceremony early so that HMCM Countryman could travel from Kuwait to be my guest speaker! It was well worth it. Even after all of the last minute preparations, it came together without a hitch! I even have 2 people there taking pictures and I didn’t have to worry about a thing! I talked to Countryman the day before and asked him to just not make me cry...and what did he do, he read a poem by my mom and I was good until that point! Then I thought that I was going to be big and bold and not cry and I couldn’t get anything out without getting choked up when it came my time to talk! All I could do was tell all of my family and friends that I was so grateful for them over the past 20 years! So now it is on to another career and leave this part of my life behind...it was a GREAT ADVENTURE...THANKS!
