In celebration of her graduation from college and because she is a huge Beatles fan, Meg & I took a trip to England. Little did I know that this trip would be as memorable to me as to her. To this day, any time I hear the song Penny Lane, I am immediately transported back to the moment in LIverpool when our private taxi driver turned down Penny Lane at the same time she had the song playing from the taxi's CD player. This is no longer just a song, but a precious memory of a time and place Meg & I shared together.
