I don't wear a watch, but I like to know the time, so my idea of a furnished flat involves having a clock in every room except for my bedroom.
I had wanted one for the corridor in front of the bedroom for a longest time, but couldn't find anything that would match the two pictures hanging there. So I lost my patience and decided to build my own. I did two clocks in the past two years, so I have the necessary stuff at home. Once decided, I stumbled upon the perfect frame quite soon and quite incidentally (I needed one having a wooden back, and I never saw one until I needed it).
Made a design and gathered up my courage and used my driller for the first time (normally it's for drilling holes into the walls, and I don't do that, that honour is reserved for a neighbour of mine). Used my crafts knife for the first time also, as I did my Xyron. Love the result.
I have to mention that Zora (DeepGirl) helped me to do position the numerals, as I majorly suck at measuring anything.
