So you’re deciding whether to join the Army or go to Nursing College huh? Go Army. Seriously, it’s the perfect career for you. You’ll join thinking it’s just something you’ll do for a few years, but you’ll find it’s such an amazing adventure that you’ll stay for fifteen years. It won’t be easy. It will be a huge moral challenge to stay on the right path, and stay active at church throughout your military career, but you will succeed more than you’ll fail. You’ve been taught well, and you have a strong character that will get you through many tough moments. The Lord has angels watching over you, and they will help you more times than you’ll be able to count. Call on the Priesthood to give you a blessing whenever you need it. The blessings will strengthen you and help you, this I guarrantee. You will go through experiences in the Army that will astound your family when they hear of them later, though at the time will seem completely normal to you. There will be times of heartache and pain - no life is without it - but you will grow stronger from each experience, and move forward with determination to learn from it. Do you remember that person you’ve been dreaming of since you were 14? He really is the man of your dreams and you will find him when you least expect. You will know pretty much straight away that he is The One. The two of you will marry and have children who will fill your hearts in ways you can only imagine. Being a mother will be the most rewarding thing ever, and you will love every minute of that blessing.I don’t have any other advice really. You know what is right and what the Lord would have you do. Stick to that and you’ll be just fine. Life really is an adventure - love it and live it with no regrets, the good stuff is yet to come.
