The text in Slovak reads:
These photographs were made when I was preparing myself for a job interview for the position of a translator for the European Commission. I was so frustrated by my lack of concentration that I took some EU brochures with me to see my friend Lucia in hope of getting a priceless lecture on the topic from her. My expectations didn't fail and, as a delightful side-effect, I also made this cutesy series of pics. I've never ever seen anybody to literally throw themselves at EU brochures with such enthusiasm as Lucia's daughter Klára. If I wanted to be banal I'd say that maybe she has a future as an EU official before her, but instead of questionable predictions let us be honest and admit that it might be closer to the truth if we said she liked them because they were colourful!
