It is amazing how people from all over the world can come together and forge bonds of friendship. Being the type of person that I am, it's hard for me to make friends. I'm shy and it's hard for me to open up and let others in, harder still to trust them, to share my fears and problems with them. But the digi-scrap community is so unique, the women (and men) who scrap seem to share a bond that makes friendship seem to flow very naturally. It is in that digital world that I have found a family. I have found women that I can trust with my secrets and my fears. They are there to support me and give me a shoulder to lean on when I need it, and they share their lives with me. When my spirits are low they are there to pick me up and share my burdens with me. And on the days when life is really hard, they do wonderful things like send me a bouquet of my favorite flowers. I now refer to them as the Ladies of the Lilies. To Laura, Meg, Sara, Jennifer, Jen Amanda, Nikki, and Tara, I want to say thank you, for making me happy and for being my friends. :)
