This is for #17 - if you could stop time. This statement really hit too close to home this week, as one of my co-workers and team-mates was murdered brutally.

On this day I really wished I could have stopped time...
I wish I could have warned you not to open that door. I wish I could have told you of his sick mind and intentions. I wish I had been able to shield you from every slash of the blade or from your son from watching every horrifying moment of the attack. There are so many wishes I have wished the last few days, and if I could stop and turn back time, my biggest wish is to make sure that none of this ever happened and you would be there the next morning with your bright, smiling face, your positive attitude and your generous spirit.
There are so many of us that will miss you, but at least we can say that we have no regrets having known such a wonderful person.
May the angels in heaven embrace you with loving arms.
