The American health non-system is in such a shambles I don’t know how we can go on. While the politicians are busy duking it out, I am busy volunteering my time as a PA each Thursday evening at the Free Clinic here in town. I sometimes think this is little better than a Bandaid approach, but it really does help the individuals and families who need it. These are generally hard-working folk who either do not have access to group health insurance or do not make enough money to afford their share of their employer’s group insurance. It would be a fine, fine day if everyone in the USA had reliable insurance and I no longer had a “job.” 9/2001-3/2010 and onward.
