Loryn read her poem with the principal on Valentine's Day! It is a poem we wrote together, and it's all about the fact that Valentine's Day is also my mother's (Loryn's Oma's) birthday. She was precious, and when she finished, the principal led the audience in a chorus of "Happy Birthday" for my mom!
The poem:
Happy Valentine's Day is what you say
Unless it's special in another way.
In my family it's two days in one
A day of love, and a day of fun
So after school and after play
When my Oma comes we all say
Happy Happy Birthday!!
