Turning 13 has been tough for all of us. The tears come a bit more frequently as you face new challenges with friends and life. I see you constantly wondering if things will ever be simple again and my heart just breaks. I really wish I could just wave a magic wand to make this all go away but sadly, I know I can’t. Just know that it won’t always be so stressful and that God will be there to give you strength when you feel that it is getting to be too much. Also know that I am here and while it may seem very foreign to you - I have been a teen once too and can relate to some of the things you are going through and will be here to give you a hug or just laugh at the silliness that life can throw at you. But always remember to keep that free spirit about you - it will be what will keep you smiling even when you aren’t sure it is ok to!
