Journalling reads: The day you were born, Grandpa and Grandma came to meet you at the hospital. While Grandpa was holding you, he was telling you all the things he was looking forward to as you grew. One of those things was that he couldn’t wait until you were old enough to take for an ice cream. Last summer you were still too small (only 6 months old), but this summer you were 18 months! And Grandpa did take you out for an ice cream of all your very own. It was a special day for you both, and I hope its the start of a very special tradition for the two of you to share.
