Journaling Says:
It has been reported that a Mrs. Emily Merritt has
been stalking “The Queen of Quick”, chef Rachael
Ray. Merritt is a member of Rachael’s fan club,
collects her cook books and faithfully watches her
30 Minute Meals show. She also subscribes to her
magazine Everyday with Rachael Ray. Pop Weekly
learned from an anonymous source that Mrs.
Merritt cooks a Rachael Ray recipe for dinner five
out of seven nights a week. She is known to
test these recipes on her neighbors and friends
monthly. Mrs. Merritt refused to comment, but her
husband Ray (hmmm...coincidence? I think not.)
told Pop Weekly that his wife is a devoted follower
of the Food Network chef. He said, “My wife loves
Rachael Ray so much that all she wanted for
Christmas was her magazine, a 5 quart cooking pan,
a pantry full of EVOO and a new spoonula.” We
were also able to get a comment from Mrs. Merritt’s
2 year old daughter, Bryleigh. When asked about
mommy and Rachael Ray, all she had to say was,
“Yumm-o”. Unfortunately it sounds as if Mrs. Merritt’s
obsession is rubbing off on her children. A friend
secretly smuggled some food out of the Merritt
household for us to taste test. Pop Weekly’s
comment to Mrs. Merritt’s cooking is, “How good is
that?” We will continue to keep a close watch on
this story as it continues to develop.
