Just a little something from me
Journaling: It was here. My birthday. THE birthday. My 40th birthday. I should have been worrying about the over-the-hill jokes and the Lordy, Lordy, Look who's 40! signs. Instead I spent the day worrying about my Dad who was scheduled for open heart surgery the next day. We spent the evening all together in Pap's room. You guys did surprise me with a cake. No ice cream. No Balloons. No singing. No presents. No candles. But it was one of the best birthdays ever - because we were all together, laughing and joking. Just like old times.
