I chose Question 36

Journaling: I became a mom at a really young age and while I don’t regret it, I will not lie and say that it has ever been easy. You two mean the world to me and would never ever change anything, I am woman enough to admit though that I was far from ready to be a mom. From the late nights staying up rocking a colicky baby, to the years when we didn’t even have enough money for food, to now when I struggle to do it all, be a mom, run a business and go to school full time. it has never been easy. Or come naturally for that matter.. I struggle with patience and anger. I struggle with making enough time for you and your dad. I especially struggle with taking care of myself so that I can take better care of you. But the one thing I’ve learned from all the struggle in the last five years is that I am strong. I am smart, and I have what it takes to grow, adapt and learn from my mistakes. Being a mother is getting easier with time and I feel like I’m coming out of the darkness every day. I’m learning to be a mom, and while it’s not fair that I have to learn while doing it, I hope some day you can appreciate the struggle that we’ve overcome. Never give up, even when it’s hard.
What beautiful journaling....seriously has me bawling (because I feel the exact same way almost every hour of every day!!!!) Fabulous job on this page Traci!!

Just beautiful journaling!! SUCH a great job!
FYI even if you wait, you never quite feel like you totally prepared, you are always learning as you go;)
