Horrifying. Grotesque. I hate you stretch marks, I really do. Sometimes I hear women say, “Oh! They’re my battle scars. I am proud of them.” Hogwash. I hate them. They are ugly and my stomach is deformed. No lotions, creams or potions made any difference. I even consulted a plastic surgeon and he said, “applying creams - old wives tale! At best the lotions will hydrate my stetch marks. Whoopdeedo. I have never felt the same way about myself and I’ve never been looked at the same way either. Absolutely disgusting. Four years after the birth of my first child and I still look at myself in horror each time I look in the mirror. They are even worse now.
