What I wrote:
During the first months of the year, we were forced to live apart when we had no maid. Daddy and Mommy had to work, Matthew had to go to school so Martha went to Lolo and Lola to get taken cared of. It was really hard for me. Weekends were spent at the Shrine as it was cheaper going there than having Martha go to Manila.
I spent many a night trying not to cry out of helplessness of our situation. I tried not to feel empty.
Luckily, God gave me an early birthday present a week before my birthday.
Martha was able to come home! It was really good - being complete for the first time in a month in our own home. I get to be mommy to my 2 kids!
We get to be a normal family again! So what to do we do on an ordinary Monday when Daddy goes to work and Mommy doesnt need to go to work?
Well, Daddy isnt looking. So I load up on junk food, place a mat on the floor, get pillows off the couch, and watch cartoons all day while munching on chips. Coke is permitted, with limitations. We get to talk about random, senseless things, tease one another, tickle each other and really laugh. Of course, taking pictures is part of it. This is one of the things that make me really happy.
When I look at the photos from that day, I remember how much fun I had with you kids. You may not remember that day but I will.
I get to be a mommy to my kids, and it really felt nice having the two of you together.
