I have been a massive Bon Jovi fan since I was thirteen. That makes this addiction over 20 years old. I remember the day a friend bought me ‘Slippery When Wet’ on cassette! I flogged that album to death! But I admit, it’s not just about the music. Mr JBJ just has that little bit of sum’n sum’n that I can’t get enough of. I used to laugh at my mum loving Rod Stewart and I suppose one day when the kids are old enough they will ask me who I loved back in the ‘olden days’!! There’s something about the way he smiles. Or maybe it’s the leather pants?? He gets better with age - or maybe it was when he ditched the big 80’s hair. What can I say? But don’t tell anyone I told you this. It’s one of those things, now that I’m older, that I don’t like to admit. A bit like the Britney Spears perfume I wear. Love the fragrance but loathe admitting the brand. Some things died when the eighties faded but not the way MR BJB makes my stomach flitter!
