Journaling reads: You have been here for a visit for about a week when you got a package from your parents. You were on the phone with them when you opened it, but I wish I’d had the camera in my hands to take a photo of you as you opened it and found this! The look on your face was priceless! So shocked, amazed and happy! They had thoughtfully charged it up for you and added in their cell numbers. It has been glued to your hand since then, but I have been proud of you for picking a spot to keep it and making sure it gets there to keep it safe. You have been having a blast sending text messages, photos and calling your parents on it! What a great present for a girl growing (too quickly!) into a teen!
