journaling: You didn’t suck your thumb as a baby. For some reason you started as a toddler. I remember thinking you would never give up this habit,
especially at night since it soothed you to sleep. One day I showed you how your thumb was becoming misshapen. A few days later you completely stopped
sucking your thumb. I was amazed that once you decided to stop, you could. I’m not sure exactly when you stopped but I think it was not long after this
photo was taken in July 2007. I think you have such a strong will and I hope that will serve you well in your life.
