I love that you are not terrified of the ocean. Instead you have always had a cautious fascination with the waves. You love watching them roll on the sand, just not when you happen to be sitting on it. But up in your Daddy’s arms is your favorite place to enjoy them. I’m so thrilled that Rachael snapped these photos of the 2 of you. This is what I see each time you tire of playing in the sand. Daddy carries you out past the water’s edge, you see the wave coming and you cling to daddy as it splashes into you,and then immediately you are ready to go out further. You love when the big waves splash the both of you and I love that you are held safely in daddy’s grasp. And those couple of times when the waves have splashed hard into your face, have been scary for sure, but they haven’t kept you from enjoying the delight you get from “wave-jumping” as you like to call it.
