When I married a marine, I
really thought I knew what
i was getting myself in to.
having been a marine
myself, I knew that many
sacrifices would have to be
made. after eight years, i
am now beginning to get
frustrated. I have put all
my career goals on hold to
support my husband and
his career. I currently have
one of the best jobs I could
have ever hoped for and
within a year we will have
to pick up and move again.
I do not want to move
anymore. I like my job, I like
the friends i have made
here and I am not far from
my side of the family.
I just want to stay put.
I remind myself every day
that we will be better of
in the future if he retires
from the marines.
