Photoless layout about my one Christmas wish that can't come true.
Although I am over the moon with Finn being here and celebrating his first Christmas, there will be one person missing. My grandfather.
He is in the hospital right now. He has cancer and like my grandmother, he also has got dementia. My grandmother lives in a retirement home since this Summer.
My grandfather was still at home, but his dementia evolved too quickly and is now in hospital waiting for a room in the same retirement home as my grandmother.
I feel so sad for my grandfather. I know he doesn't want to be there. I know he wants to be at home, in the house he has lived in for 50 years.
But it just isn't safe for him to be alone in his home any longer.
