Dallas, anyone going to watch?

I remember when my grandma, mom, and aunts would gather in the living room to watch the old Dallas and I'd get to sit with them. I felt like a grown up sitting with them, lol!

I definitely am going to give Dallas a try. And it starts tonight. :)
 
I'm watching right now. Trying to let the DVR get ahead of me so I can FF.

I like the cute sons. :) I think Sue Ellen looks pretty good (she must have had a face lift or something), but Lucy really aged.

I won't mention anything to spoil in case you all haven't watched any of it yet.

Oh, and I should say...I stopped watching Dallas a few years before it ended, so I'm kind of clueless on some things. Did anyone watch all the episodes and can catch me up on how it ended?
 
I wish I could remember what happened on the original. I just remember watching it with the women in my family.

I wonder if I can find them online lol!
 
I'm sure Sharon is watching and can help ya out on that problem too Mary :) I never watched Dallas regularly and not sure yet if I'll watch the new one. My DVR is already on overload and not sure I can handle another show
 
I've got it DVR'd but haven't had a chance to see it yet. I stopped watching the original for the last one or two seasons. Pretty much after Bobby came back & that whole season of him being dead was revealed to be a dream. Annoyed me so much I just stopped watching it.
 
i'm emailing myself right now to give it a try. we watched faithfully - we slept at my grandparents most friday nights - and watched it with them.
 
I didn't watch it when it first came out, but then there was all the hullabaloo in Alaska because they were finally going to get tv shows at the same time as the lower 48 so everyone up there could see "Who Shot JR". Everything before that was on a 2 week delay.

I did end up seeing it all on reruns about 25 years ago! LOL
 
Oh my goodness... you serious, I watched Dallas as a little kid! LOVED IT... geez I must be old!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's filmed right up the road from me..and lemme tell you - Dallas "life" isn't all that LOLOL

This. LOL. My dad used to watch it all the time (and who says men don't want soap operas...that's all it is). I remember all the Who Shot JR mess...when we went on vacation that year, we seriously had people asking us if JR was real and if we rode horses to work.
Um, no, he's not real; and no, in Houston we drive cars....pretty sure they drive them in Dallas too. :blink:
 
I started watching it last night and just wasnt impressed. So this wont end up on my DVR for the summer.
 
I started watching but to be honest it didn't hold my attention. Would have been more fun if Bobby's kid was bad and JRs was good. Lol
