Kraft Question

This may be a silly question, but what is the definition of "kraft" paper? I think along the lines of construction paper, but I am wondering if I am mistaken. Can craft be cream colored, or even blue, or does it always have to be tanish?

My understanding it was like the back of a pack of papers... that thicker rougher tanish/brown color always. :/

I consider kraft the texture. handmade type back of paper but if i use the texture with colored I'd still call them kraft

Honestly, back when I started digi scrapping I had to google it!

In the hybrid craft sense I tend to think of it as the tan-ish color (and texture obviously) but with digi stuff I think of it as any neutral color with that texture.
