Mini man and I Finally got to go for our walk (he was very moody yesterday, well today too LOL but we went anyway :D :D ). Kiddo & I don't have a vehicle at the moment so everything is walk walk walk.. It's good for my butt right?? Well today we ventured a little further than normal (mommy wanted taco bell.. :D ). It was only like 45 minutes, not really that bad... So we went and ate, did some shopping and puttering around in the plaza and then started home. We were about halfway home and I said to connor "this was really fun we should do it again sometime don't you think?" ... he looked at me.. with his serious little grumpy face and said "Mom, we really need a car". :D :D :D :D

Enjoy the outdoors kiddo! LOL.. It's good for ya.
 
Bwahahahahahaha!!! Too funny. My kiddos and I have been playing outside today cause we are in the upper 70's right now!! So nice to get out of the house.
 
LMAO that's too funny Lauren! It's nice that you have places within walking distance though! My kids are the total opposite - they bug me to walk Kaylie to and from school every day, even when the weather is not really nice enough to be walking! Of course today is cloudy and rainy here so there will be no walking anywhere for us!
 
LOL!! Kids say the most profound things sometimes.

Well it's in the upper 80's here...UGH!...and in my tiny little town all we have is a pizza place that's so-so or the Circle K for a hotdog...we HAVE to drive everywhere!
 
We love to take walks... I have NO car either right now and won't until possibly until tomorrow night ( :thumbdown: ) but it has been raining ALL darn day so we are stuck no matter what !!!!! mmmmmmmm Taco Bell
 
I WISH we lived in a walkable area. When we lived in Celebration it was TOTALLY doable (that was one of the "objectives" of Celebration, FL - though it's a very "Stepford Wives" type of community) but now, not so much. I have to say I love Taco Bell! LOL. Those Taco Supremes are YUMMY.

If I had a Starbucks in walking distance we'd all be getting outside and walking a whole lot more! we have stuff in walking distance but nothing as motivating (at least to me) as Starbucks LOL

I prefer to go out in the rain, snow (what's that, have seem to have forgotten :mad: ) or cold weather. I hate the summer, I'm weird like that. But I'm about to go outside and let my daughter run off some of this energy. Lauren why did you have to say Taco Bell? Man that sounds good
 
LOL! How fun!! I want to go for a walk today too but there are nasty dark clouds in the sky (even though it's sunny at the moment) and I think we might get rained on in our 1 1/2 mile walk to the little store. Man, I'm so ready for Spring!!

My almost three year old has never known what it was like to have a car - we don't own a car but rent about once or twice a month for the weekend (and can walk or bus anywhere we need to go in between). She must think that we just go into the parking lot and randomly choose a car, since every weekend the car is different!
Walks are good. I have been pulling the kids on their wagon every day but today. (Today I wanted a break... but I really should have anyway!)
 
Taco Bell.....I went to a Taco Bell in NY the last time we went to the US, and there were NO fries supreme! I was heart broken, I was like "what do you mean you never heard of it!" We get them in Canada, fries fully loaded, cheese, meat, tomatoes, sour cream, chives.....yummm.

I only get Taco Bell when I leave the province, we don't have one! :cursing:

I should jog tonight, it's a beautiful night, but.....I'm so lazy :p

and yes, it's GORGEOUS out. i was moving boxes today, so i wasn't out for long periods of time, but it was lovely when i was out.

Me too!I hate the heat and the bright a$$ sun! I have a migraine issue with super bright light. Maybe I'm part vampire? And yum....Taaaacoooo Beeeell!

Well we DO have a Starbucks near us!!! WOOT! But, it's been miserable here too. Rainy, wet and cold. And this is such wonderful news, it's going to snow tonight! :thumbdown:

I have never heard of this . . . what would make Taco Bell even more perfect? FRIES, of course. Brilliant.

isn't there some Canadian dish involving fries, and cheese and something else? I can't think of the name . . . I saw it on Postcards from Buster LOL.
